I have been a resident of the city of Weston for 13 years.
I have decided to get a permit for windows and doors. I contacted the building department and they offered me excellent service from customer service, the girls especially the one who assisted me, Flavia Isabel, very kind and collaborator, inspectors with excellent professionalism and service.

I very rarely leave reviews but this city was super welcoming and helpful. I was helped by Flavi in the building department, and she guided me to who I needed to talk too in order to fix my problem. I spoke to the structural reviewer Bob and he explained to me everything I needed to do. This city was great thank you for all your help once again staff is a 10/10.

I complained about the above apartment owner of my condo. She did not put the corking needed before the floor installation and as result her renting tenants walk and run and I can hear it load. She was told to get an inspector and what she did on an area of the living room she had her handyman lift the tiles and told the inspector to check the area and she got away with it! I called again and showed the inspector who came the scenario. He said would speak to the original inspector. Upon waiting for an answer, he’d sent me an email stating the original inspector said it was ok. Nobody dame to verify . Conclusion, nothing was done and after a year still the same . I have many recorded instances of the noise children make running and is sad I have nobody to tell . Sad how money people get away with murder in our beautiful city… no more integrity since money buys everything here. This is why our beautiful city once has crime now.. these drug dealers come give more than the value of the property and no background check is done… SAD!

Building department receptionists are very rude and unfriendly. If your trying to get simple information or have a question be prepared to be treated like your a waste of time and incompetent because that is what you will get.
