I am truly impressed with the Academy of Imagination daycare. Their top priority is the well-being, enjoyment, and development of the children. The daycare offers a wide variety of activities and plenty of playtime, both indoors and outdoors, regardless of the season. The children are always having fun, whether it's summer or winter, as they are regularly taken outside to explore and play.

The variety of toys and activities is remarkable, ensuring that the kids are always engaged and entertained. The teachers are fantastic—caring, attentive, and truly passionate about helping each child grow. They create a warm and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.

The meals are diverse and always include fresh fruits and vegetables, providing the children with numerous healthy options throughout the day.

I can’t say enough good things about this daycare. I had a lot of anxiety about leaving my child at a daycare. That dread increased after I visited another private daycare - my baby cried the entire time and the staff expressed to me that they were concerned I couldn’t “control” my kid. Then we met Amy and her amazing daycare. I was immediately smitten with the space and her philosophy to let kids be kids. The very first day my child walked in and didn’t look back, total confidence. Three years my child was educated but most importantly nurtured and encouraged to be himself. He made amazing friends and a brand new family. This is the place to be. The best educators. Emphasis on PLAY. Emphasis on NATURE. Dirt! Swimming! Fun! We will miss you guys!

Amy and the team at imagination academy are wonderful, caring educators, and our son has had so much fun during his time here. They make each day special- park trips, tons of outdoor play, swimming lessons in the summer- this daycare takes learning through play to the next level! We've had an A+ experience here!

Before choosing our daycare, we visited a number of places and ultimately, here are the reasons that made us choose Academie de l'Imagination:

- The Educators. This is a place where staff *stay* and they are well taken care of and appreciated both by the employee and the parents. The ladies have been at the daycare for years. This was important for us to know that when our child bonds with their caregiver, they wouldn't be leaving any time soon.

One of the main reasons why we chose Imagination was seeing how the educators interacted with the kids during the pandemic, long before we even sent our child there. The thoughtful care they put into ensuring that the kids felt safe and loved during a very challenging time made us certain that this was the place for our child.

- The Activities. Daily swimming lessons in the summer, structured and varied indoor and outdoor activities. There hasn't been a day when my child hasn't come home talking about how much fun he has at daycare.

- The Menu. Menu changes every week and is clearly communicated to parents. Everyday the kids have 2 healthy snacks and lunch. Food allergies? No problem. They're on it. Given how close the daycare is to the waterfront, they often have picnics right by the Windmill or the water.

- Administrative Organization. This isn't a paper and pen joint. When your tax forms and invoices are sent to you, it's sent on time and SECURELY. This goes for everything: the agenda they send to you on your child's progress, their attendance sheets, registration form. It's organized and seamless.

- Location. The daycare is located in the heart of Pointe-Claire Village and the kids often participate in neighborhood activities and are very much part of the community.

- Communication. Everyday we receive a report on what our child did that day, pictures of their activities and a report on the milestones that they're working on. Amy is very hands on and is very clear when communicating with parents.

- Parental Support. There is an active parent association involved in the daycare and is very much consulted on activities and administrative procedures at the daycare.

Fantastic daycare ! Not your standard big box bland daycare at all. Kids spend their days outdoors exploring, walking and getting their hands dirty as kids should be! Staff is wonderful and welcoming! Book for a visit !

I have nothing but good things to say about Academy of Imagination! As an Early Childhood Educator, I can't imagine sending my son's anywhere else! My 2 year old loves going to "school" every day. The activities that the girls plan for the kiddos are always so fun and creative. From swimming lessons in the summer to winter walks, this daycare is everything your kiddos want & MORE.

Our little one had a great experience at Académie Imagination. The director, Amy, has a unique personal approach and is clearly very dedicated to the children. All the educators were kind, nurturing, and competent, and made us feel safe and comfortable leaving our child in good hands. One of our favourite elements is the play-based approach and how much time the children spend outside exploring the neighbourhood. The summer program is unique in that it offers optional swimming lessons and lots of time at the local wading pool, and even in the springtime the children often ate lunch in the park - a much appreciated emphasis on nature, exercise, and fresh air.  The pre-k classroom is large and bright, and the educators seem to make great use of the space to come up with creative activities. We will miss them for sure. Thank you!
