This is my kid’s first daycare, and we’re really happy with it. The teachers are super caring and helped my child get through the transition period smoothly. Now, after three months, my child has settled in really well and loves all the fun activities they do.

I also love the communication app and the monitor. It really puts my mind at ease and makes me feel connected during the day-it’s important for new parents. Plus, they provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks, which makes life so much easier for busy parents!

I’d definitely recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a warm and supportive place for their child.

My daughter absolutely loves Childventures! She’s in Preschool 4, and the transition was so smooth—it only took her two days to settle in. She’s already so happy and even eats well while she’s there.

The teachers and staff at the Vaughan location are incredibly caring and attentive. They keep us updated throughout the day, which gives us so much peace of mind. Every day, my daughter surprises us with the new things she’s learning!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Childventures and highly recommend it to anyone searching for a reliable and nurturing childcare center.

I just wanted to share our experience in the Infant 1 class. We’re so grateful for Ms. Neloufar’s care. She’s incredibly warm, patient, and attentive, creating a nurturing environment where my daughter feels safe and happy. I’ve seen so much growth in her since joining the class, and it’s clear that Ms. Neloufar truly cares about each child’s well-being and development.”

Preet, Mell and Neloufar are great! They are all kind, caring and genuinely enjoy working with young children. They always make a point to share how our daughter’s day went at pick-up, which my husband and I appreciate as first-time parents. Sending a big thank you to the infant care team!

During our search for childcare, we visited many centers and Childventures Vaughan met all of our requirements with their Infant Program. They’re located on the second floor, a clean facility, and the food made on-site is healthy and less processed in comparison to what I had seen at the other centers. There are cameras in the main classrooms and an app that is updated regularly with their daily functions. The teachers in the Infant Room were very engaging with the kids, did new activities daily, and provided additional updates during pickup. We were so happy with the program and recommended it to a few people who ended up enrolling their kids there too. The time came when our child had to switch to the Toddler Program, and unfortunately, everything went downhill from there.

For starters, the allotted time slot for the morning diaper change is 10:30, and not again until after their nap at around 2:30/3. In the first weeks, I took my child home multiple times with a soiled diaper that had dried up from sitting in there. In addition, there were always food stains left on their faces and most notably was constantly seeing kids with layers of dried up boogers on their faces and around their mouths from not being wiped clean regularly.

We also noticed that the number of educational activities including doing artwork significantly dropped in the Toddler Program. What did increase was children being taken from one activity room to another, where the teachers sit and watch kids play independently, which is more typical with a play-based daycare and not a Montessori where they are being taught developmental skills. As such, the number of incidents increased, and most injuries never got reported because the teachers "didn't see what happened". Since there are no cameras in the activity rooms, accepting these explanations became the norm.

Although we were always hesitant to bring up our concerns and risking our child being treated differently, we did it anyway assuming it would be handled appropriately. Each time, we were reassured that the concerns were being taken seriously, but were given the same explanation over again. We were told that the center had issues hiring staff that have practical experience since their training courses were online. Also with their high turnover, they told us that the Toddler Program was one that they always had a hard time mastering. It started to feel like these were excuses to look the other way on issues being raised. I know participating in the Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care may mean less funding, but as parents who are still paying for a service, we should not be expected to settle, especially when we voice concerns regarding safety and the quality of child care.

There is no denying that there are some great people who work there, but there are also some individuals who should NOT be in childcare. Our withdrawal decision was made easy by the lack of developmental curriculum in the Toddler Program as well as witnessing and experiencing too many negative interactions with certain staff. Extremely disappointed with the overall experience and more specifically with the final days where the center director made it clear that the company’s bottom line was their only priority.

As a first time mom, sending my 18 month old son to daycare for the first time was a big worry for me. When we visited Childventures, we instantly knew we wanted our son to become apart of the family. From his first day, the Toddler 1 teachers have been so amazing to welcome us and make his transition into daycare seamless. I can’t thank Ms.Gurpreet, Ms.Inessa and Ms.Zelena enough for caring for the children in Toddler 1 as their own.

It’s been 6months since my little girl joined CV Vaughan! She joined at 9months and she’s almost 15months now and we’ve had an amazing experience so far. For me , it’s mostly about the educators - Ms Cindy , Ms Neloufar, Sabrina , and Ms. preet! And all the ECE’s . My daughter is very fond of them and it made the transition easier.
I’ll be doing a much more detailed review at the end of her infant class when she transitions, but for now, here’s my review about the infant class :

Pro’s :
1. Kindness and thoughtfulness. The educators are very patient and would go by the baby’s schedule . I’m grateful to the teachers - Ms Cindy for her kind words and assurances when my daughter started. Infact, all the ECE’s at my daughter’s class are doing amazing - they are about 6 of them and the two infant mentors . They are very thoughtful and kind. They all made the transition a little easier. They take time to feed her , make sure she’s happy and teach her lots of new things

2. Food!! - I guess this is every parents concern! They feed my daughter multiple times per day , they followed my instructions as to when to give her milk and they pureed/ blended the foods ( which was a major concern ). We delayed weaning her off formula and there was never a concern from the daycare , they simply went with what we wanted and continued to give her formula until we were comfortable to fully transition.

3. Communication:- this is perhaps one of the most beautiful thing that we appreciate about CV. The communication on the App and the phone calls are stellar! I’ve never had a difficultly reaching them on phone before, just a call away! They also respond on the App quite fast. They’ll promptly inform me of any updates , for example, if she didn’t have breakfast , or if there’s something peculiar happening. The app is always updated with activities , and all she does all day.

4. Camera - you can watch your infant go about their activities - gives you peace of mind .

5. The most educational part is so effective. My daughter does lots of sign language now. I see new things that she learns everyday from the daycare and that makes me really happy. Whether it’s how to signal “more” for food, or blow a kiss, or sit when I say “ sit “.. it’s all proof that she’s learning a lot from the educators so kudos to you all!! .

Honestly , there are so many pros but we’re so glad we made the right choice .

My only advice would be during the tour I think it would be nice to assure parents that If their child is still on puree that the food would be pureed for them. The tour guide kept evading the questions around food being pureed or blended and if not for MS CINDY assuring me that the food would be pureed and she would be spoon- fed , we wouldn’t have gone with CV. So good to take note of.
