Because I was raised in a large, metropolitan area, accessibility was something that I saw as part of everyday life, but identifying and generating educational, recreational, and social programs in increasingly accessible formats in the more rural community in which my family and I now live has posed a few challenges. For that reason, among others, my family and I have appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with Deaf Intervention Services staff members and are grateful to see what they are doing to enhance accessibility, improve policy, and generate opportunity within several communities in the region.

Surgery went just as planned, we're so thankful for this care team and the efforts they put out for my son both in front and behind the scenes. He was a little nervous at first, but he's one tough guy! Some very dedicated people made sure to have interpreters on the ready for him and having that support in place for him today was exactly what he needed to feel comfortable..so very thankful to the hospital and to Scott Foor with Deaf Intervention Services for making that happen with not much notice at all! Now he's ready to heal! Thank you Deaf Intervention Services LLC

I moved to Wyoming several years ago. I was shocked, there was no language access at all. I went through many terrible experiences while seeking access. I searched and searched. No resources and every door slammed in my face. Then DeafIS found me. DeafIS gave my life back with full language access. Full language access gives my life joy.

I Learned in Wyoming, our deaf community can still be evicted, fired and denied services based on who they are and who they love. We do not accept this. Wyoming can do better, and we will keep fighting until all Wyomingites can live free of discrimination.

Now, I work to make every resource and every door open to the Deaf community in Wyoming.

We hired Scott to work with our child who is profoundly deaf tutoring one on one. Our child is thriving working with Scott, he understands the concepts and has grown in his confidence. Scott, is always prepared and connects well with my child, easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We are very happy and thankful for Deaf Intervention Services and the ability to meet remotely. Highly recommend for any core subject and supports.

Thankful for DIS get service for my Doctor's appointment. Its been 5 years since I had an actual interpreter for my appointment. DIS is a GREAT Interpreter Agency in Wyoming. They cover the entire state of Wyoming. Highly recommend!
