We had a really excellent experience with MDE, including Grace, the owner, and Jill, our postpartum night doula.

Starting from the initial phone call, Grace made it a priority to get to understand us so she could match us with a doula who'd fit our needs. When she learned where we were planning to set up baby's bassinet, she offered helpful tips to ensure the baby got better sleep, too.

Jill, our doula, was AMAZING. I don't think we would have survived our first six weeks without her. She's a lactation counselor, so she provided invaluable guidance to my wife around breastfeeding. Above all else, she's a kind, punctual, and loving person. She showered our daughter with love in our time together, and we all formed a really special bond. She was always on top of taking care of baby and my wife, and helped us create a game plan to get as much sleep as possible while she was with us. Jill is also very willing to go with the flow. Though we had a plan for her overnight shifts, if we were feeling differently that night, she'd work with us to find something that worked for the night.

I can't say good enough things about MDE in general and Jill in particular :).

Staffs of MDE are so helpful in finding a nice family for you. They check on you during the first few weeks you started a job just to see if you’re doing okay and if you have any problem or needs. They are very approachable and very friendly as well. I would highly recommend them to other nannies looking for a job.

As a nanny, what i look for in an agency is a agent that will hear me out and really listen to what i’m looking for and what would be a good match for me and not try and make me settle and that’s MDE! Jules is always available to listen even well after I’ve been placed and offer advice.
