Wonderful staff and daycare.

It has now been 2 and a half years my children have been in this daycare. 1 aged 7 in the school age building and 1 aged 4 at the main site. The 4 year old has been attending since the age of 1.5 and has been through all the classrooms at the main site. With every teacher there. We have never had an issue or any problems with the staff, meals or schedule. The app is updated throughout the day with photos and updates on everything they do, nap durations and all their meals.

My older child has been attending the school age site since he started junior kindergarten. He attends before and after school as that is where the bus picks up and drops off. He also attends full day during the summer months (and snow days) and each day is filled with activities.

Staff are always very cheerful and helpful. Have never had any complaints about one of them. They are always on top of things and fill you in on your children's day at pick up.

The kids are always very excited to attend and we couldn't be happier with the daycare.

Since before I had my child attending the daycare I have had issues.
I clearly filled out the registration papers, had not heard back, tried to call and email multiple times and nothing.
I ended up having to go into the daycare which was a far distance from where I was moving from to attend the issue.
Apparently the manager said I was looking for part time and was waiting for another child to fill in the other days my child was not attending.. this was not the case.
I had clearly stated in the registration papers my anticipated start date and full time care.
This daycare centre is unprofessional, does not update you on daily activities or meet you at check in, you’re left doing everything upon drop off and pick up, walk into the room and they are changing your child right where you walk in , standing naked in front of all the children (boys and girls) , multiple times I picked up my child while they were at outside playtime and she was drenching wet from playing in cold water with no mittens on, workers are not personable with your child… if you leave the daycare they do not ask why, they only want payment from you… you are just a pay check for this daycare. They do not pay attention to proper infection control hence the outbreaks they have.

Would not recommend this daycare to anybody!!

North Bay Daycare and Learning Centres has always gone above and beyond for our children. Day-to-day care includes a very caring and safe atmosphere, where they make outdoor time and learning time a priority for all ages. The meals are great and always offer a variety of healthy options. Communication through the daycares app is impeccable. I can say that this centre has blown my husband and I away compared to the home daycare and centre we attempted to place my son at in Astorville. Some days the home daycare wouldn't even bring my son outside, whereas the centre in Astorville was very poorly run and my son was very clearly being neglected. We have chosen to return to North Bay Daycare Centre in North Bay, rather than to send our son to the centre at his future school, because we knew they would be prioritizing his needs, safety, wellbeing, happiness, etc. here. Even through COVID, working from home full-time, and needing to make TWO trips to town rather than one, we chose North Bay Daycare without hesitation! My kids run in so happily every day, and that in itself should tell you everything you need to know.

I absolutely adore the North Bay Daycare Centre. I drop both my toddler and school-aged child off each day with complete confidence that they are safe, well-fed and taken care of! The communication is impeccable, as I am updated throughout the day on everything from what’s on the menu and fun activities, to diaper changes and nap duration. I honestly cannot rave about this place enough. As long as we require daycare - the North Bay Daycare Centre will be our home. I highly recommend!

I registered my son at the main site when he was almost 2 years old. The staff was amazing with him and took the time to show him how to do things as he was behind. He stayed at the main site until he started school then he moved over to the school aged site. My daughter started at the main site when she was around 16 months old. My daughter is still at the main site doing her jk year. The staff at both sites are amazing and are able to talk with you with no issues. My son has autism and my daughter has global development delay and all the staff who have been with my children have taken the time to make sure that my children understand in the task at hand. Jannah has been amazing in answering any questions I have had. I would highly recommend this daycare:)

From what I've read and experience Is not professional or organized. I was told on Friday they had a spot for me. The policy is you must pay up front monthly in full. Over the weekend I scrambled to get the financials together as I was to call back on the Monday. After a stressful weekend when I called on the Monday I was told there wasn't a spot. That in fact someone had said they were leaving but then changed their mind. I was told that I would be called on the Tuesday to confirm and I never Received the call back. While on the phone speaking with the lady you could hear the impatientness and stress in her voice. They clearly Have no clue what's going on have no patience Not a place I would bring my child or recommend whatsoever however horrible business. If you can't properly deal with adults or business how can I trust you to deal with my child?

This daycare is not equipped with either staff or procedures to care for mentally disabled kids. They have no patience and can not seem to find handbooks that we’re given to them to help care for a child with autism. THEY GIVE UP WAY TOO EASILY
