In June 2023, I started the nightmare project of comparing merchant processors. We were not happy with the Clover switch at that time. The credit card receipt didn't show our reference (invoice #) and they wanted to charge us an additional $5/month for this feature. The customer service was not great on the phone either.

4 merchant service processors were compared in June 2023. After numerous e-mails to understand the different charges/pricing structure, I chose Serve First Solutions as our new processor. Cain Sanchez was extremely patient and answered all of my questions in detail. We received features that we didn't have before with the previous processor. My co-worker and I love how easy it is to process credit card payments. We can either sign in and do the transaction ourselves in the portal, or we can send a secure payment link to the customer. We automatically receive an e-mail transaction receipt. When we had a little hick up with our first international payment, Serve First Solutions immediately jumped into action and solved the problem. We are very happy and don't plan on switching anytime soon.

Switching to SFS has been a wonderful experience. The terminal is easy to use and provides features that are incredibly helpful (storing credit cards and customer profiles, easy batch preview, editing amount of transaction in event of an error, customizable system, assisting with PCI compliance and more) and the staff are incredibly helpful. I love that I can always get a live person on the phone to assist with my needs, and they are also quick to respond to emails. Jared not only walked me through the onboarding process but reaches out periodically to check and make sure we're still happy with things as well as go over our statement with me every month. Everyone I have connected with at the company has been friendly and helpful. This is the kind of customer service everyone deserves.

Update: After having been with SFS for a little over a year now, I can say the service has only gotten better. Any issues I run across are resolved within just a few hours, and if they require more attention, they call to tell me they are still looking into it. The communication is wonderful and that's something I value. I want to stay with them as long as humanly possible.
